Finally got my space pen from the store that is selling them from Amazon.com. This beauty “had me at Hello.” I really like being able to write in a notebook pad, while laying back in bed, and the pen is almost upside down.

There are writing tasks that I procrastinate on, such as doing my Getting Things Done Weekly Review.

So what I try to do is inject as much as association of pleasure, and relaxation into this task. So I usually do the review, reclined in bed, with the radio tuned into the Phil Hendrie show, or Coast2CoastAM ( a show with expert guests on subjects such as Bigfoot, Astral Projection, recording ghost voices, Using your Mind To shape your desired Realtiy, etc..).
But man, this pen really delivers. I actually had a different pen on my “Buy List”, that I saw at Nordstroms, that is over 200 bucks, and yes it was sweet - but this Space Pen is my lifetime choice for a writing instrument. One part of the Weekly Review, the probably most important part of GTD, is “Emptying Your Head”. You get stuff out of your head that you know you need to do, or you notice something has not had any progress on it, and you realize it’s because you’re waiting for someone else’s response, so you create a “Waiting For” item.

It’s good be physically comfortable, to let things flow out of your head. The right tools make a difference.

“Those only are happy who have their minds fixed on some object
other than their own happiness: on the happiness of others, on
the improvement of mankind, even on some art or pursuit, followed
not as a means, but as itself the ideal end. Aiming thus at
something else, they find happiness by the way.”

- John Stuart Mill
