There needs to be more public Internet access, this is the 2000’s.
On a trip to Seattle, where I was trying to secure an apartment (and finally did), it was an insane battle to have to find Internet Cafe’s at times.

When you’re trying to just stay on target with your list of apartments (that was printed from rent.com), you don’t want to have to veer off the map, and try to find some library that someone at a gas station pointed out, or the nearest Internet Cafe, just because you want to check your email and/or transfer money from one account to another.
Moral of the story: Buy yourself a cheap laptop, even if you don’t use it that much, and you don’t travel much, like myself. It’s fantastically useful, when there are so many coffee shops with the Wi-Fi, but not the computers themselves (besides, who wants to grab a mouse/keyboard with blueberry muffin on it).
Many hotels/motels have internet connections too, so you’re even good-to-go in your hotel between your little scenic or business-related jaunts on the streets.
